Lisa & Gymnastic

Finally..

I finally got Lisa’s certificate after along years wait.

This certificate means a lot to Lisa. This is the certificate that she received when she participated in MSSWP to represent her school in Artistic gymnastics. She was awarded overall champion and was automatically chosen to represent the federal territory in the MSSM competition,but it did not turn out so well as it was her first MSSM. You couldn’t expect much but what was important was she tried her best to make the team proud.

To be honest, lisa has long done gymnastics. She has been doing it since we were at our first few years in Bangkok. At that time I wasn’t really on board with the idea of her doing gymnastics because to me she has a greater ability in swimming. It was enough for me she was already in the school team for swimming. When she tried out for the swimming team she got selected for the team. I thought that was it. But, something else came to her mind. She wanted to try out for the gymnastics team. I ignored it for a while. After being encouraged by her friends  she convinced me to let her to try out. It was a little funny seeing her pull a tight face. I already told her gymnastics was no easy work but she still did it even though she knew it too. But evidently she was selected for the school team. As a mother I should still give her support. But my principle still stands in her head today... when you start it don't do it half way. Because it was YOU who decided to do it.

Till today, Lisa is still doing her gymnastics and preparing for her 1st SUKMA selection and more competitions to come. Hopefully she can get to the BIGGEST sporting event in the World......
